music industry in sabah (kota kinabalu)

today i will talk about music scene in sabah malaysia. many bands in (here) sabah, quite invisible to the public eye of sabah itself. is not like they not promoting there band but supportive of this land is quite low. maybe with this blog, i can pump a little bit about knowing underground band in sabah. who knows, you'll maybe like one of this bands. here are list of mine

about the band, The Jethroés is literally the Retrock; a four rocking knights consists of their frontman, Surianto S. the vocalist and also as the guitarist, Mahmood Ahmad, their bassist, Agus Susanto S. on drum and M. Ridhwan Shazni Bosimin, guitarist. These lads, the Retrock's finest, what was once a rock and roll band and now, with a darker attitude, haunting lyrics, with a heavier riffs, a very witching solos, those of psychedelics and to the stoning ones but still keeping the power pop-ing beat that will surely make you dance no matter how crusty you are and how dark yourself are and will continue to bang you hard!. if you want to try listen to this awesome band just clik this (The Jethroes)

A universal 3 piece band who performs a wide variety of genre and styles in music scene. Consisting two sisters & one good looking guy as a drummer!. Although the band identifies as alternative Rocknroll/Folkrock, but they also performs a wide variety of genres and styles in music scene.. At first, they just play randomly kind of music, especially pop music before turning on to garage rock concept. in 2008 and they began to make their first material on that time and played several gig in their town until this present day. if you want to listen noise and psychedelic sound, you should hear a little bit about this band. with a little bit the new wave (in my opinion) sound they produce, it was actually quite outstanding with the effect of the guitars. here's the link orang planet - halusinasi

Frontman Company was formed June 2008, basically a Malaysian Rock band influence from Kota Kinabalu | Sandakan, sabah. Frontman music was influenced by Queen, Beatles, Aerosmith, Incubus, Silverchair and Dewa19.
